1. How much does it cost to place a house for sale or house for rent advert with The House Exchange?
   All house for sale and house for rent classified ads are FREE and remain on our database until sold. It is up to you to delete your ad off the database using the 'Delete an Advert' link found in the navigation bar on the left of the screen.

2. How do you make any money?
   As with most of the Search Engines our income will be derived from Banner Advertising which means you get free ads.

3. How many property for sale adverts can I have?
   As many as you like.

4. Can I have a Photo with my property ad?
   Yes. In fact we would prefer it, if all Ads had a photo. To add your photo, go to 'Send Photos' in the top navigation bar.

5. My photo is rejected when I send it to you!
   This is normally because the image size is greater than 50Kb, which is the largest image file size that we accept, or that the photo is not saved in the .jpg or .jpeg formats. Click HERE for more information on scanning, file sizes and file formats.

6. Can I change a property ad?
   Yes. Use the 'Edit an Advert' facility. You will find this in the left hand navigation bar.

7. I live in America. Can I advertise goods with you?
   No. The House Exchange is a UK only houses for sale classified ads site.

8. I have forgotten my Password and Username!
   No problem. Go to 'Forgotten Password?' link in the navigation bar to the left of your screen. This will take you to a short form that is then emailed to us. We will then email you back your 'Username' and 'Password' for the Advert in question. To go there right now click HERE.
